Language Problem in Jawa Pos Radar Solo News
Abstract
This study aims to identify and classify language errors found in news published by Jawa Pos Radar Solo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a content analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that there are various language errors in the news published by Jawa Pos Radar Solo. These errors are identified in several aspects, namely the use of inappropriate capital letters, morphological errors, incorrect use of punctuation, spelling errors, and inappropriate use of italics. The conclusion of this study shows that although online media such as Jawa Pos Radar Solo have an important role in conveying information, there are still a number of language errors that need to be corrected to improve the quality of reporting.
