Abstract

In the increasing modern lifestyle adopted by the Interns of the Yayasan Sayap Ibu Bintaro
(YSIB) it is very possible for a disease disorder such as routine activities in sitting,
standing, squatting positions that are too long, excessive activities in inappropriate
positions can also be a cause of concern. triggers prone to various kinds of pain complaints.
The student felt complaints of musculoskeletal pain such as Low Back Pain (LBP). LBP is
one of the health problems in the form of acute and chronic pain felt in the lower back. The
purpose of this service is to provide understanding and prevention of LBP to YSIB interns.
The implementation method provided is in the form of leaflets, demonstration of stretching
exercises, cow pose, seated eagle pose, figure 4, seated twist, forward bend, and posture
education while working. The evaluation process of this service is carried out qualitatively
in the form of questionnaires in the form of pre-test and post-test. The results of this service
activity show that the pre-test understanding level knows 40% and does not know 60%.
The post-test level of understanding knows 90% and does not know 10%. The conclusion in
this service activity is that participants' understanding of the explanation and methods of
preventing LBP before and after the activity is 50%.
