Abstract

One indicator of the role of educational institutions in sustainable environmental
management is the availability of the adiwiyata (green school) program. Currently, there
are not many Muhammadiyah elementary and secondary schools in Boyolali Regency
that have the status of Adiwiyata schools, including the Muhammadiyah PK (Special
Program) Boyolali Elementary School. The pioneering of the Adiwiyata school is
important because it is one of the benchmarks for the success of the Boyolali
Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PDM) in contributing to environmental
management. Therefore, this service activity is carried out with the aim that the school is
able to become an example and motivation for schools to go to adiwiyata schools. The
purpose of this activity is to help pioneer the adiwiyata school at SD Muhammadiyah PK
Boyolali. Activities to be carried out are preparing a plan for the Movement for
Environmental Care and Culture in Schools (PBLHS) based on the School Self-
Evaluation Report (EDS), and preparing Identification of Environmental Potentials and
Problems (IPMLH). This activity is carried out using the mentoring method with an
Asset Based Community Development approach. The existence of this mentoring activity
was able to have a positive impact on increasing participants' knowledge in preparing the
two documents.
