Posyandu cadres are the main pillars of development, especially in the health sector. The
level of knowledge of cadres in the implementation of posyandu is very much needed,
because it can provide health information to the community, and guide them to carry out

the elderly. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of cadres in
managing the health of the elderly. This activity was carried out at the Posyandu for the
elderly in Purbosari, Purbayan Village, Baki sub-district, Sukoharjo district, Central Java
in April 2022. The target is 22 elderly cadres. The activity begins with the preparation
stage, namely coordination with the baki health center, and the village officials of the
ancient village, preparation of pre and post-test questionnaires to the method of carrying
out activities. The questionnaire used is a knowledge questionnaire consisting of 10
questions that have been modified by the service team using the Guttman scale, the correct
answer is given a score of 1 and the wrong answer is given a score of 0. Score 80% good
knowledge and < 80% bad knowledge. The results of the evaluation showed that there was
an increase in the level of knowledge of cadres. 18 cadres have a good level of knowledge
